Schnitzel KVIN, Outdoor Knife
The KVIN outdoor knife is from Schnitzel Germany and is a bit more classic compared to the previous models. The Kvin combines modern and classic elements from the world of knives: a modern and dynamic drop-point blade with clip-point features and a discreet swedge meets a tapered handle made of green-brown linen Micarta, which has been polished and fits comfortably in the hand. Colored G-10 liners between the black or orange handle scales underline the overall picture. Matching pins were chosen to secure the handle, creating a straightforward design.
The blade, which is approx. 0.14 inches thin and approx. 4.6 inches long, is made of the proven Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel and has been given a high flat grind for good cutting performance. We would like to emphasize that the Kvin, due to its blade geometry, is not a survival tool, but a tool for everyday tasks such as carving, cutting or preparing food during outdoor adventures. Its tasks include, for example, the competent production of kindling.
The Kvin is equipped with a fire steel, the back of the blade is additionally sharpened to allow confident scratching. Our robust Kydex sheath with thumb ramp and dangler attachment completes the package.
To optimize the hold of the thumb when working, a functional jimping has been added to the back of the blade, which characterizes the style of our knives. Another common feature of the Kvin is the lanyard hole integrated into the pommel, to which a small leather lanyard is attached.
The Kvin is available in two versions, which differ only in the different colors of the liners.
