The WEC1 Wave Effects Control provides 6 different wave and ripple effects modes. The WEC1 is used for simulated water effects when combined with blue and green LED lights. The control has 20 speed steps in each of the 6 modes. Slower speeds are used for wave simulation. Faster speeds are used to create ripple effects. The faster speed settings can also be used for creating fast fire flicker effects when used with the appropriate color LED lights such as orange, amber, and red. The WEC1 lighting control is an alternative to DMX-512 systems when a small, portable, easy to use, standalone controller is needed. The WEC1 operates from 5-24 volts DC. The maximum power is 12 watts. The control supports up to a 1-amp load at 12 volts DC and a 0.50-amp load at 24 volts DC. The control is equipped with DC barrel connectors of the 2.1mm x 5.5mm size. The polarity of the connectors is center positive. The WEC1 control switches the -V (negative) side of the load. The overall length of the control and pigtail cable ends is 12” nominal. The Water Effects Control is well suited for 12V battery portable operation theme park character costumes and other portable applications. The best water lighting effects can be achieved when multiple controls and lights are operated together with different mode wave / ripple patterns and speeds.
